HAIR!!!

Hair. Hair. Hair. Hair. Hair. Hair. Hair. HAIR.   In case you couldn't tell, my post is going to be about hair. I had no idea what to post about, and hair, I decided, was easy for me to post about.

I love my hair. My hair is lovely and wonderful. Also, my parents don't really give a crap about what I do to it. Kind of. They freaked out a little bit when I cut it on my own, but they calmed down and they're fine with it now.

I love to dye my hair. I dye it all the time! Except for now cuz of my job. I've had completely black, red bangs, pink underneath brown, purple underneath, purple and blue underneath, rainbow underneath (yes the whole damn rainbow), purple underneath again, blue underneath, then I dyed it boring brown and it faded to brown with blonde underneath. Yup. That was an adventure.

Once I'm done with work though, I'm going to dye the top brown and underneath I'm going to do red and blue. I think that I'm going to do horizontal stripes. That would look pretty cool. I'm also planning on cutting it all awesome-like. Possibly with swooshy bangs and layers. Ogres have layers. I'm not an ogre. I will have layers though. I hope.

Anyway, I really love hair. I love styling it, playing with it, taking care of it. I just love hair.
I can't wait until I can do cool thing to my hair. In the mean time I have to deal with this:

His Name is Robert Paulson

So according to my friend, my life is now like one of those cheesy romantic 80's movies where the teenagers do cool, fun stuff. I don't know if this is 100% accurate, but I can tell you that my life is kinda like a cheesy romantic movie. Mostly last night. See, I have recently acquired that which others call a "boyfriend." So this so dubbed "boyfriend" took me out last night.

He picked me up at my house and drove us (yes he can drive, don't judge) down to Redstone. We went to Walmart and bought chocolate milk, bubbles, and Sour Patch Kids. After that, we went to the parking garage below Best Buy and drank the chocolate milk. After we drank that, we *gasp* did nothing bad! We got roller blades out of his trunk and went roller blading in the garage while blowing bubbles. It was quite fun.

The bubbles look really cool when you're going really fast on roller blades. After a while we went up to the Best Buy and looked around for a bit. My mom wanted to find a cheap printer/fax machine so she had me scout one out. We got bored pretty quickly and went back downstairs. You'll never believe what happened next. That's right. Absolutely nothing. We ate Sour Patch Kids and went roller blading some more.

After we finished the roller blading we went to Kneaders and got a smoothie. The "boyfriend" tipped the lady there with an origami elephant made out of a dollar bill. It was adorable. So we drank a smoothie and he drove me home. It was nice.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention Robert! So apparently this "boyfriend" dude is really good at claw machines. He played the claw machine and won me a teddy bear who I dubbed 'Robert Paulson' afte the guy in "Fight Club" (great movie by the way). So that my dear readers, is why my friend said my life seems like an 80's movie. Oh well *shrugs*
This be Robert.

I am a Responsible Working Person Now... Ew!

So I actually got a job! Yay for me! I now work at Empire Lodge at Deer Valley bussing tables. That basically means that I take people dishes for them and sort them. Not the best job, but it pays $8.50 an hour, so that pretty good, especially since I work seven hours. I work from 9-4 and it's not actually that bad. Except for a couple things.

First off, the uniform. Like, what the hell is this? Freaking polyester pants that only look fancy, but in reality are cheap as hell. Then there's the fact that they're too big or too small, I can't win! Also, they're really loose everywhere, except the butt. It's like "Hey look at my butt!" Except for the fact that my butt is actually covered by a disgusting, puke-colored vest. Like, what is this? It look disgusting! And the shirts are a giant baggy, button-up, collared shirt. It's weird. I understand that I have to tuck it in, but it's still giant on me, and I have a small! That is why I hate my uniform. It's terrible.

I also have to stand all day which is really annoying and it hurts. Not only do my feet hurt, but I have a bad knee that gets painful when I have to stand too long. It kinda really sucks. Especially since I only get 40 minutes of break in a seven hour day. It kinda sucks and at the end of the day, my knees and feet are killing me. So that kinda sucks.

There are some good things though. For example: I met some really cool friends who work with me. One of them is named Drew. He's really funny and cool. We make jokes and stuff the entire time we're working. Another person is a girl named Nicole. She's from Argentina. She's also really funny. One time at the end of the day when we were cleaning up, Drew and I went upstairs to put the trash and recycle bins where they go at the end of the day and Nicole happened to be upstairs. Drew said something, I forget what, and Nicole started to spray him with the orange cleaner we use for the tables! He started trying to hit her with one of the rags we use to clean the table, and Nicole sprayed him in the ear! His expression was priceless! He wound up smelling like oranges and had a very clean ear...

So like I said, work is hard and annoying, but it can also be really fun if you work with the right people.

Here have a crappy picture I drew...

It's Like Croatoan...

I have an obsession. For the past two or three days, I've been drawing anime things. Mostly couples, but a few single people... I have no idea why this happened... Actually I do, but you don't need to know that. Anyway, I've been drawing them everywhere! Well, almost everywhere. I've even been avoiding paying attention in class by drawing them. I almost missed part of my biology notes because I was so busy drawing a couple hugging! I even finished early in art just so I could draw them. I haven't been doing my homework either because I'm too busy drawing anime!

Aww they're kissing! Kawaii!

Yes. Yes that does say 'Sexy Strippin' Shemales'

Oh hey it's Amanda!

In my sketchbook. (Some of them aren't quite finished...)

On my Spanish Project...

That definitely isn't me hugging a guy...

Science just got a little more interesting!

He just look so shocked to be kissed by a girl!

Not even geography is safe!

I even have a bunch on my wall at home. My entire wall is covered, there's no space left! I can barely even remember what color my wall is, and I wouldn't if it weren't for the small spaces between drawings and pictures. I'm even going to start hanging my art on another wall because I've run out of space on my original art wall. I really have no idea how any of this happened. It's like, one day I'm just sitting in my room, and the next: Bam! I have a bunch of anime everywhere I look! I'm honestly a bit frightened... It's like a virus! It's spreading so fast! I am a diseased person! What have you done to me anime? Why! I can only hope that it leaves me alone soon... I don't want to be sick anymore, as much as I love art, this has to stop soon.

What I Do For You Tanya.

So last night I had a dance performance. It went pretty well. It was really fun. I think we did awesome. Getting ready beforehand though. That was a nightmare. See, we have to show up and hour beforehand in our costumes, makeup ready, and all that jazz. So I got home around 3:15, then I had to quickly shower and go to a lacrosse thing at 4. So I did that then went back home at 4:30. I immediately went to my bedroom to start getting ready. I pulled out all my makeup, pulled back my hair, and put on my face. I did a really awesome pink smokey eye with black eyeliner. I had really pink blush and bright pink lipstick. Don't judge, I like pink!

So after all that (which took an hour) I put on my fabulous costume which consisted of a skintight dress that goes about five inches below my hips, it's black and ends in red poofs with two gold stripes up the body area. I also wore thigh high tights that are black and white striped with red bows on the top. I also have red fishnet gloves, a small hat, and a weird jacket. The jacket in black and white striped, have red ruffles on the ends of the sleeves and doesn't even act like a real jacket. It only covers my arms and back. So in conclusion, my costume was terrible. Luckily I was able to wear leggings underneath so it wasn't too risque.

After I put on that monstrosity, I suddenly remembered that I had to have a zombie shirt! See I street dance with Tanya, who's in charge of the shows and such, and so we decided that the street dancers would do Thriller. So I didn't have my Thriller costume. Shit. Right then, I heard my dad walk through the door. I sprinted downstairs and hysterically yelled at him:

"DadIneedoneofyourwhiteundershirtstocutupandmakebloodyforThrillerorI'lldieahorribledeath!"

That is literally what I said. He replied with a confused:

"Okay take whatever you need out of my drawer?"

After a hurried thank you I ran upstairs and took one of his white undershirts and ran to my room. I broke out the scissors and cut that badboy up! I then proceeded to get the fake blood out of my brother's closet and ran back to my bathroom. I put the shirt in the bathtub and sprayed blood all over that sucker! I ran out of blood doing that... So now my bathtub looks like a murder scene...

Le Murder*

Yaaaa... I still have to clean that...

On the bright side, My zombie costume was very nice!

So after I did that, I made my dad drive me to dance, I was there on time, I smiled, I danced, I sung, and I had fun scaring small children. It was a great show :)

blarghlbarbles!!! The Internet is Working!!!

Hello everyone! I'm so so so sorry for not posting yesterday! The internet was down on the entire island! I really wanted to post, but I couldn't.

Yesterday everyone rented bikes, but there were eleven bikes and thirteen of us. So me, being the the lazy person I am, and my brother (improper grammar alert!) took a cab to the cruise center. See, there were a bunch of cruise ships and since they were there, the cruise center was open! So we went there and we walked around the shops then ate lunch at Margaritaville, which, by the way, is terrible and I will never go there again. The only exciting thing that happened there is that we all did jello shots. Yup. I did a jello shot. It was fun.

We went back to where we're staying and I lazed around until dinner time. I ate dinner then went back and lazed around some more. After that, I heard that we were trying to set up the TV to watch "We Are The Millers" so I went next door. Unfortunately, they couldn't get it to work, fortunately, they got it to work at our place! So we watched the movie and went to bed. The end.

Today I woke up, got dressed, got bikes, and we all went for a really long bike ride. We went to the lighthouse which was really boring. So all I was wearing was my bikini and a shirt and there were TONS of potholes, ladies, you can imagine how much that hurt. It was terrible. After that, we went out to lunch and then my brother and I rode back to where we're staying  and I sat on the couch. My brother though, went next door to see if the internet worked. He came back and told me that the internet was working. I instantly jumped up and shoved him out of the way to go get my laptop. I grabbed the laptop and shoved him out of the way again and ran out the door. I sat down, opened my computer, and blogged. All for you people. I hope you're happy.

Anyway, nothing really interesting will happen for the rest of the day, and if anything does happen, I'll update. The only other thing is that I have a LOT more bug bites. It's terrible. Anyway, that's all. Miss you all! See you when I get back! I hope... Byeeeeee!!!!!

3/4 of a Fish

Hello there all! So this morning my dad woke me up bright and early by tickling my feet. I dragged myself out of bed and put on mah fishing clothes!

Yup. I went deep sea fishing. I always do on trips like this. So anyway, I always get seasick. But only when I'm deep sea fishing. It's weird. Today though, I didn't. It was awesome. We went around for a bit before finally, the fish started biting. We caught eight fish total between the three of us. My dad won our competition with the most fish caught at three fish. Two wahoo and a barracuda! I came in second with two and 3/4 fish. Yes, you read that right, 3/4. I caught one and 3/4 wahoo and one barracuda. My brother came in last with a wahoo and a tuna.

So onto the 3/4 of a fish that I reeled in. The fish grabbed onto the bait and started to pull. I let him pull it until he stopped before starting to reel. I reeled for a while before the "fish" started to pull the line again. It swam really fast and hard. It finally stopeed and I reeled it in half-way before we saw something white in the water. The captain said that it was probably a shark and that it had most likely attacked the fish I was reeling in. I, of course, didn't believe him. I had never heard of this before! I finally pulled the fish in all the way and there it was in all its glory. It's tail bitten off and guts falling out. It had obviously been attacked by a shark. It was wicked! Here's a picture I took:
Yup... Pretty damn awesome..

Anyway, after that adventure, we went back and I lazed around inside until it was 5 o'clock. I then got ready and put on my bathing suit for a night dive. We went out to a place where we were yesterday and got on all our gear. There really is no way to describe how awesome night dives are. They're so much better than normal dives. And then there's the fact that I'm afraid of the dark and I'm afraid of sharks... So that kinda sucked a little, but other than that it was cool!

Tonight for dinner, we ate the fish that we caught this morning and I ate the last slice of key-lime pie. Because of this, my adult friend Don flipped me off. I then gave him a snarky reply and my mother just looked at me and said "You are so snarky!" And I got sad because that's what Boyfriend always says to me and I miss him. Anyway, I came back to the house thingy and stole the internet to write this blogpost. So there. I miss you all and I'll see you later this week. Byeeeeeeee!!!
